Supervisory Skills
Most supervisors are promoted into this role without being given adequate training. The assumption is that since they are good at what they do, they will also be good supervisors. The reality is that like any job, a supervisor needs adequate training, resources and time to do the job well.

In advanced supervision, I focus on assessing one’s own leadership style, visioning exercises and case study discussions. My expertise is grounded in my own supervision experience, as well as seven years as a trainer for the CompassPoint workshop “Supervision: Helping People Achieve Results”.
